We are excited to announce that the release of new Canada data in collaboration with Exceed Analysis is coming soon. All of the Canadian databases have received an update, including CrimeRisk Canada. Keep reading for more details about the databases and to see sample maps.
We currently carry four databases for Canada, the most basic being Canadian Demographics. This database includes Current year estimates covering a broad range of demographic characteristics and five-year projections of key variables. We will be adding some additional historical variables this year using the 2021 Census basics. The maps below show population change year over year (2023 to 2024) for Vancouver and for the Toronto area. Dark blue on the map shows growth areas.
The other available databases include Consumer Expenditures, which includes detailed household expenditures, Wealth, which includes household assets, debts and net worth, Panorama CanAm, our neighborhood segmentation system which spans the U.S. and Canada, and Canada CrimeRisk, which creates an index of crime occurrence.
These updated databases will be made available to channel partners in the coming weeks.
