It’s the start of a new year, and we have big plans for 2023. There are lots of exciting things happening at AGS this year, some that we aren’t quite willing to share all the details of just yet. Here is a little sneak peek of what you can look forward to this year from AGS.

  • Expanded Canada Data: Last year, we released Canada data for a few datasets, including demographics, consumer expenditures, wealth, and Panorama CanAm. This year, we will be expanding our offerings to include 5-year projections for demographics as well as CrimeRisk for Canada, which we know many of you are waiting for. Stay tuned for these databases, coming this spring.
  • Religious Data: We will be releasing a new database on religious affiliation. This new database will have many uses, including for grocery stores and others that need this data for retail stocking.
  • Continued Census Integration: As the Census Bureau continues to roll out the 2020 Census data, we will continue to incorporate it into our databases. This is a flexible timeline as dates for data releases continue to change. We hope that the 2023B release will include new ACS data, pending the Census release of detailed data in May.
  • Updated MRI Data: The 2022 MRI-Simmons data, which includes several hundred new attributes, will be available in our 2023A release.
  • Behaviors and Attitudes: A revised and expanded Behaviors and Attitudes dataset, which will be an increase to about 600 from the current 425, will be coming this year.

We hope that you have enjoyed this look into our plans for 2023. Keep reading our blog for details on when these enhancements will be available.
