Canadian Geospatial & Demographic Datasets
Accurate, Modeled Data for Every Province and Territory
Applied Geographic Solutions provides detailed demographic, economic, and consumer data for Canada, designed to match the quality and consistency of our U.S. offerings, ensuring seamless analysis across borders.
Whether you’re forecasting growth, evaluating locations, or modeling demand across provinces, AGS provides the accuracy, granularity, and methodological transparency you need to make informed decisions.
Designed for Canadian Geography
All Canadian data is modeled using Statistics Canada’s geographies, including dissemination areas, census divisions, and postal codes.
This structure ensures consistency with national standards while enabling detailed, localized analysis.

Panorama CanAm
CrimeRisk Canada
CrimeRisk Canada assigns an index score on various crime types at all geographic levels across Canada. The CrimeRisk Canada dataset consists of the same variables as in the United States, which make up seven core indices: murder, sexual assault, robbery, assault, burglary, larceny, and motor vehicle theft.
BusinessCounts Canada
BusinessCounts is a geographic summary dataset of business establishments and employees for 1.15 million businesses and 13.5 million employees. In addition, the establishment/firm level dataset is available either for all sectors, or for the consumer/retail groups (110 NAICS codes).
The dataset is available for all standard levels of geography including dissemination area (DA). Significant effort has been put into ensuring that companies are known by trade rather than legal name wherever possible.
Point of Interest
The Point of Interest (POI) dataset includes, for each firm/establishment in the dataset:
- Name
- Address
- Dissemination Block
- Latitude/Longitude
- NAICS coding and description
- SIC coding and description
- Estimated employees
