Over the past few years, we have been aggressively pursuing a long-term plan that will firmly establish AGS as the premiere demographics company in North America. We have focused on three main components: the scope and quality of our data, our delivery systems, and our channel partner relationships.
While 2023 exceeded our wildest expectations, 2024 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for AGS, and ultimately for the industry as a whole. Several of the threads we have been quietly working on will be woven together into what we believe will be revolutionary improvements in the accuracy of demographic estimates and projections.
Under the hood, we have been building a new generation of advanced data models which seamlessly integrate individual and household level data with geospatial data at the census block level.
In 2024, we will release the first of many products based on these new methodologies that seamlessly integrate source data from household surveys into our census block level demographic estimates and projections. The results, based on hundreds of linear and non-linear sub-models, will provide the most accurate detailed profile of consumer spending and financial characteristics available, all at the census block level.
Panorama, our geodemographic segmentation system, is now approaching ten years of extensive use and will be rebuilt using our household-census block hybrid modeling environment and will take advantage of the wealth of household finance information arising from the new consumer models.
Most importantly, the 2024B estimates and projections series will include the first of many quantum leaps in accuracy through the innovative integration of additional data sources using advanced spatial analysis techniques. No spoiler alerts here though, you’ll just have to wait.
And in case this isn’t enough, we will continue to expand and improve our data offerings for both the United States and Canada, fine tune the performance and analytics capabilities of our Snapshot engine and continue to provide the best support in the industry.
