2022 was a big year for AGS, and we wanted to look back on some of the things that made this past year memorable.
We added thousands of variables to our library with new databases like Panorama CanAm, Vital Statistics, Chronic Health and Risk Factors, and of course, the rerelease of Quality of Life. Our data team worked tirelessly to get this new data out, and many companies have already been enjoying the new data. We are always on the hunt for new data to offer, and this year was one for the AGS record books.
Our team attended ICSC Vegas in May, the first “normal” ICSC in many years. It was wonderful to see each other in person for a great week of networking and dealmaking. Oscar attended ICSC in San Diego, while Mike attended ICSC New York. We love conferences as it gives us a chance to chat with clients in person. To us, business is personal, and we love nothing more than getting to know you better at your booths. We have plans to attend a few more conferences in 2023; we will see you there!
When we look back on the last year, most of what we will think about is related to our colleagues. Our team grew by a few members, with Mike Christenson, Ben Needham and Oscar Zaragoza joining our team. Gary said it best in an article in early February announcing Matt Needham’s new title and the hiring of Mike, we really are building the “dream team” and it feels like we are there. Of course, we also said goodbye to a dear friend and colleague with Lori Aune retiring at the end of 2022. We know that many of you will miss her, as will we, but we are confident that Oscar will provide the same level of service that you have become accustomed to.
We have big plans for 2023, so be sure that you read that post here.
