Last week, we introduced you to the data team, so this week, we want to introduce you to the client team. If you are a current client, you have at some point talked to one—or likely all three— of us, and are well acquainted with us, but if not, here is a bit more about Mike, Oscar and Elyse.
Mike Christenson
After many years of being on the application side of the fence, Mike Christenson joined the team in 2022 as Senior Vice President. Mike has a long history in our field, with a well-deserved reputation for excellence in helping to shape the phenomenal success of our channel partner Sites USA. Coming out of college with a Bachelor of Science Management, Mike was introduced into the world of mapping and demographics at Sites USA. It was there that Mike spent close to 20 years mastering his craft in business and software development through thousands of conversations with the industry’s best and up and coming commercial real estate professionals. At AGS, Mike has a pivotal role in expanding our channel partner network into new vertical markets, strengthening our position in core sectors, and helping to guide our technical team as we continue to expand our databases into new areas.
Oscar Zaragoza
If you have had questions about the data, then you have talked to Oscar. All things data expert, Oscar serves as Director of Customer Success and has been with AGS for three years. Oscar will likely be familiar to many of our channel partners as he comes to AGS with 25 years of experience in our industry. He started in the industry while at National Decision Systems working as a senior project manager. In 2000 he became the Director of Business Development at Nielsen Claritas, where he spent nearly 16 years. He served in a similar role at Environics Analytics, and then again at Claritas. Oscar holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego.
Elyse Menger Robinson
If you are reading this, and are a loyal reader, it might feel as like you already know me, even if we haven’t met. I am the person behind the weekly newsletter and all things marketing for AGS. Apologies if you hate my writing, or think our articles are silly or offensive, though I promise you, Gary wrote those ones.
I joined the AGS team in 2020 after nearly 8 years in higher education fundraising, where I mostly focused on direct mail and digital fundraising. My undergraduate degree is in Communication Studies, with a minor in Geography, so this role at AGS combines many of my favorite things: maps and marketing. Outside of this blog, I run our LinkedIn account, all marketing efforts, website, and administrative functions. It is often said that I am the only adult in the room, so part of my time is spent herding the rest of the AGS cats.
What about Gary and Alex?
