With the announcement that Lori Aune, the current Director of Customer Success at AGS, is retiring, we knew that we needed an industry expert to come in and join our team as we try to fill the void that she will be leaving at the end of the year. It was our goal to find someone who could shadow Lori, and learn from her, so that come the start of 2023, they are prepared to take the reins by themselves. We are delighted to have found our next Director of Customer Success, Oscar Zaragoza.
Oscar will likely be familiar to many of our channel partners as he comes to AGS with 25 years of experience in our industry. He started in the industry while at National Decision Systems (interestingly enough while Lori Aune was there, but they did not work together) working as a senior project manager. In 2000 he became the Director of Business Development at Nielsen Claritas, where he spent nearly 16 years. He served in a similar role at Environics Analytics, and then again at Claritas. Oscar holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego and resides in the San Diego area.
As we prepare for the 2022B release later this fall, Oscar will be training with Lori to prepare files and datasets for our customers. Oscar will also handle new orders, day to day customer service requests and onboarding for new channel partners and end users.
